    About The Goal Mine

We think of ourselves as an entrepreneurial center for BCI products and services, which basically means we are a bridge between:

    - Researchers and technology firms
    - Technology firms and business clients
    - Business clients and their employees/customers

Bruce Kasanoff Bruce Kasanoff is a founding Partner at The Goal Mine. He is the author of the business strategy book, Making It Personal: How to Profit from Personalization without Invading Privacy.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing cited Bruce among their inaugural listing of the 50 most influential thinkers in marketing and business today.

Bruce was an original partner of Peppers and Rogers Group (PRG), a strategic advisory firm focused on building "1to1" relationships between companies and their most valuable customers. He founded and managed that firm's training, research, and interactive programs.

An entrepreneur at heart, Bruce has raised venture capital and angel investments; he has built new companies and product lines successfully; he has also experienced the pain of business failure. He was a visiting entrepreneur who taught entrepreneurship in the graduate program at Babson College.

He is a highly rated speaker who has conducted workshops for professionals from hundreds of leading organizations including professional associations, leading universities, Fortune 500 firms, and up-and-coming entrepreneurial companies.

A Wharton MBA with a double major in strategy and entrepreneurship, Bruce is an elected member of the Planning and Zoning Commission in Westport, Connecticut. He also served on the Information and Technology Literacy Curriculum Review Committee for the Westport school system, a comprehensive two-year project.

Jim George Jim George is a founding Partner at The Goal Mine. He is a personal development expert who maintains a private practice in Los Angeles.

Previously, Jim was a highly successful animator and director in the entertainment industry. He worked with hundreds of extremely talented individuals, first learning from the best at Disney and later nurturing the capabilities of other talented artists.

Jim's interest in brain-computer interfaces stems in part from a personal commitment to maintaining control over his own mind and body. For over 20 years he has kept to a rigorous daily program of meditation and intensive exercise. He knows from personal experience what the mind is capable of, and what it takes to remain focused on your goals.

A talented designer and artist who is also a certified hypnotherapist, Jim is uniquely qualified to evaluate and improve brain-computer interfaces from a usability standpoint. Throughout his career he has studied the way people move, behave, and express themselves.
